Young Leadership

Sephardic Temple Young Leadership (STYL) aims to promote continuity of Sephardic traditions by providing premier social, cultural, and religious programming for Jewish young adults in their 20s and 30s.

Past social events have included A Summer Cocktail Party, a Hanukkah Soiree, and a Mediterranean Night at exclusive locations in Beverly Hills.

STYL also periodically presents a special Friday night program, Shabbat and Champagne, beginning with Erev Shabbat services and singing led by Rabbi Bouskila, followed by a champagne kiddush and an elegant social/cultural event in the synagogue ballroom. Featured talent has included Shir Bruin (UCLA's Jewish a cappella singing group), Second Nature (USC's Improvisational Comedy Troupe), and keynote speaker Lee Bienstock (runner up on the NBC-TV hit "The Apprentice").

STYL members are also enthusiastically invited to all synagogue services, general events/parties, and educational programs, such as Rabbi Bouskila's popular Discussions Over Dinner series, guest lectures, and movie screenings.

For those interested in attending weekly Saturday morning services together with their peers, the STYL Shabbat Morning Havurah (Circle of Friends) is in the process of being formed, and we welcome your participation.

If you are interested in joining STYL, please email templeoffice@sephardictemple.org, and we will add you to the mailing list.

Stay tuned for our upcoming activities!
