Located in one of the most dynamic and diverse communities, Sephardic Temple Tifereth Israel warmly welcomes any Jew from any background who is looking to experience a warm and caring community. We are a modern synagogue in the Sephardic tradition, and we continue to strive for the middle ground in Judaism, blending the flavor of ancient traditions with the progress of modernity.

Sephardic Temple Tifereth Israel serves Jews from all walks of life, reflecting our commitment to the totality of the Jewish community. We offer a wide variety of programs that provide spiritual, intellectual and social experiences, as well as social action programs helping the less fortunate in society (both locally and in Israel), upholding our commitment to Tikkun Olam.

We provide an outstanding Adult Education program, including classes and lectures by our own Devoted Rabbi , as well as many internationally renowned guest speakers. We have an active and dynamic Talmud Torah, offering a full range of Hebrew and Judaic classes for K-7th grade, including BM preparation. We also proudly host a full post- Bar/Bat Mitzvah program (Maccabim Class for 8th Grade, and Ha-Koach Program for High School) run and taught by our rabbi. In addition to our weekly Shabbat Services, we also offer many holiday programs, including Family Shabbat Dinners, Passover Seder, Hanukkah Party, Purim Ball, Sukkah Party, family picnics and many other holiday and social events. Our vibrant Sisterhood and the always thriving Sephardic Temple Young Leadership (STYL) hold out welcoming open arms to one and all. We are committed to Zionism and Israel, and we run many trips to Israel for our youth, as well as charity missions to Israel for needy families and IDF soldiers.
